Evening Light. 18x24. Oil on Panel. SOLD.
Every day when I drive from home to town, this is the silhouette of mountain ridges I see. Of course the light is different every time, but it’s a view that always inspires. In every season, in every kind of weather, these mountains shift in color and mood — but their presence is constant.
This same ridgeline would have been seen by Native peoples who once lived here and by the early settlers who traveled down the old wagon road and settled in the mountains centuries ago. We share that connection — to land, to time, and to the people who came before us.
My hope with this piece is simple: to communicate a profound love for the land- the land I'm blessed to call home..
